A bit of shop time; much needed. Screwed up the last two... went too aggressive on cut depths but these two made it out alive 😅 Ægishjálmur and Web of Wyrd Interestingly enough 🤓☝️the etymology of the word weird is wyrd; meaning fate or destiny. These were a fun and simple make; one is just carved from a single piece, the other was 10 parts glued. The glued one seems to have a bit more life in it; I'm guessing since it spent more time in my hands. I used cherry so they could be painted - probably best green and gold for Innana. (Or maybe blue/white, lapis style) I'm not quite sure of the 3 center circles' meaning but hope that comes clear in time. Some depictions have little waves for 4 of the rays yet I like this sunburst more. (03/11/2024 03:11:29)
A few exploratory rune wheels from left over copper; quality is super low because the copper couldn't handle the vibratory rate (or rather I didn't secure it properly.). So much so that some of the glyphys cannot be seen other than a blob of copper mess. Anyway, they remind me a little Stargates (from the tv show) Will soon decide what to do with these; perhaps attach to a throwing axe 🐴🦅 (02/13/2024 19:22:52)
